Connecting Europe Through Creativity!

Realising creative ideas and creating a European network: This is the cultural project C-City – Europe is next door. No matter how far the distance between two countries and their cultural identities – they are always connected by the language of art.

By creating a digital exhibition, the C-City amateur Art Project gives the citizens of the C-Cities a visual voice and a platform to exhibit. Anyone with a connection to one of the C-Cities may enter and all contributions will be shown on the common C-City website.

HOW TO ENTER

• Make your art.
• Size: 300×400 mm
• 2D only.
• Theme: Connecting Europe

• Take a photo with your mobile phone.
• Maximum size: 5 MB
• Upload using the online entry form below, deadline: 31. October.

Bonus
Each city will select five original works which will become part of an IRL traveling art exhibition. The works will be framed with a passe-partout and the IKEA Lomviken frame.

Photography advice
Make sure all the edges are in line with the camera edges. Try to achieve good lighting and avoid shadows. Natural light is best. Use the crop tool to remove unnecessary background.

Respect
All contributions are welcome, but we reserve the right to exclude works which seek to incite hatred or prejudicial action against an individual or group based on their race, gender, ethnicity, national origin, religious convictions, sexual orientation, disability, or other differentiating factors.

Privacy policy
By participating in the C-City Amateur Art Project, you agree to your photo, your name and you text being shown on the C-City website and social medias for the duration of the project’s lifetime. If your physical work is selected for the traveling exhibition, you agree to the same information being shown in the exhibition. The artwork will be returned to you when all cities have shown the exhibition.
